CUSTOM ALUMASHIELD

Description

gaskets and gasketing material are fabricated from a neoprene or silicone filled 24x24 woven aluminum screen.

APPLICATIONS

ALUMASHIELD is recommended for applications requiring EMI shielding of seams with up to 0.002” (0.05) of joint unevenness that require a pressure seal. ALUMASHIELD filled with neoprene solid is recommended for applications requiring an operating temperature range of -40o to +255o F. ALUMASHIELD filled with silicone solid is recommended for applications requiring an operating temperature range of -65o to +500o F.

AVAILABLE CONFIGURATIONS

ALUMASHIELD is available for delivery in the materials and sizes listed in Table 16A. ALUMASHIELD can be supplied in 8” (203.20) wide rolls or can be custom die-cut by Custom Shielding to your specifications. For custom die-cut gaskets, please submit a drawing of the gasket and the type of ALUMASHIELD gasketing material required. ALUMASHIELD is also available in standard connector gasket sizes.
