CUSTOM FRAME GASKETS

Description

CUSTOM FRAME GASKETS are manufactured by bonding a length of CUSTOM MESH gasket to the edge of an aluminum mounting frame. The mounting frame provides a positive compression stop and allows the FRAME GASKETS to be easily installed. They are also available with a weather seal on one edge of the frame, and a mesh gasket on the other edge.

APPLICATIONS

CUSTOM FRAME GASKETS are used in applications requiring shielding and compression stops that can also handle structural loads. The frame allows the MESH GASKET to be positioned properly during installation and protects the gasket from over-compression. FRAME GASKETS can be mounted with screws, bolts, rivets or can be spot welded to any flange surface.

AVAILABLE CONFIGURATIONS

Standard sizes, shapes and materials used to fabricate CUSTOM FRAME GASKETS are listed in Table 20A. The frames are constructed from aluminum which has a chromate conversion coating for protection. The FRAME GASKETS are available in 8 foot lengths or can be custom fabricated to your specifications.
